I feel that this book is a valuable source for teachers, students, and researchers in cognitive science and cognitive neuroscience, because it gives a good account of the neurobiology of learning and memory and of the way in which such research underpins the clinical analysis of memory dysfunction in human beings. The Times Higher Education Supplement Squire has written an excellent introduction to memory neuropsychology because the text is not only lucid, but makes no assumptions that should not be readily apparent to someone with a basic grounding in biology and psychology...this book can be recommended to students and researchers alike.
