Richard Rumana is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at William Paterson University, a multipurpose liberal arts institution in Wayne, New Jersey. He earned a B.A. from Goddard College, a M.A. in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research, and a D.A. in Humanistic Studies from the State University of New York at Albany. He teaches courses on a variety of philosophical fields, including the history of philosophy, neo-pragmatism, continental philosophy, post-modernism, ethics, and religious studies. He is the author of On Rorty (2000).
