Pipeline will serve as a playbook to go from ?where-we-are? to ?where-we-want-to-be ?weaved together with Roy's story. Business and political leaders cannot keep throwing solutions on the wall to see if they stick. This book will take gender equity from commendable commitment to decisive action, and decisive action requires tools of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, specifically cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Advanced technologies provide organizations with new, integrated solutions that go beyond equal pay and checkbox diversity. These solutions will help collect, organize and analyze human capital data. Without data, organizations continue operating in the dark. When applied correctly, the tools of the Fourth Industrial Revolution make it possible for leaders to measure and track progress on the gender equity front so they no longer have to work in the dark. This book will finally give leaders and employees what they need to operationalize change and bend the arc of history toward inclusion: a functional view of the economy at every level through the lens of a unified gender equity story.


Additionally, unlike popular narratives, this book will not be another rah-rah for women. Pipeline will assiduously disassociate gender equity with women's rights because women are only half of the story. The other half are men. Men experience gender inequity in their own ways. They too desire a different role in society, and they want to be included in the conversation. This book will invite them in.
