Description
The purpose of a Bible atlas is to give the reader a better understanding of the Bible. Intended specifically for use in churches which have appeared as a result of the modern expansion of the Church, the historical background and literary sources are described in evangelistic terms. Eighteen maps illustrate the topographical and historical settings of the Old and New Testaments, indicating the distribution of ancient vegetation and cultivation. The text, which refers to the maps, is divided into four parts: the geography of Palestine, the story of the Bible, the Bible as history, and the expansion of the Church.
