With his train home set to leave in a matter of minutes, Callum is forced to confront an unfortunate truth: that his summer abroad in Paris was a disappointing, unmemorable failure of a trip. Meg Rosoff is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and winner of the Carnegie Medal, the Printz Award, the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis and the coveted Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. She grew up in a suburb of Boston and moved to London, where she worked in advertising for fifteen years before writing her first novel, How I Live Now, which has sold more than one million copies in thirty-six territories.
She has written critically acclaimed and award-bedecked books for adults, teenagers and younger readers. Almost Nothing Happened follows The Great Godden and Friends Like These, three coming-of-age novels which share a summer theme.
