Description
The purpose of this book is to provide an introduction to a range of methods for structuring decisions and problems, rather than solving them. Each of the six methodologies covered is presented in a linked pair of chapters. For each approach the first chapter lays out the justification for the method, develops the conceptual apparatus employed and describes the sequence of activities by which the method is applied. The second chapter of each pair illustrates the application of the method by means of a practical case study. This information has only previously been available scattered in technical journals or in books offering substantial presentations of a particular methodology - this volume allows easy access to these problem structuring methods.
