Michael Rosen initially became known in the children's book world for making poetry fun and accessible to thousands of children through collections like Quick, Let's Get Out of Here. Since then he has written many other poetry collections, picture books and short stories, as well as presenting and the producing radio programmes promoting children's literature. Michael has devoted his life to entertaining children with his writing and performances and to informing teachers, librarians, parents, publishers and government agencies of the importance of supporting children's books.
