Description
Whether or not dreams have meaning is controversial. Some scientists believe that dreams are merely neurological noise produced by a sleeping brain. Yet many therapists insist that dreams have significance in revealing personality dynamics and can be used effectively in psychotherapy. "Nightmare" explores the use of dream interpretation in psychological treatment. In Book Two, Morris seems to move away from his empirical and scientific training as he delves into paranormal phenomena. The thin line between fantasy and reality become apparent as Morris's own psychological health becomes questionable.
Marvin Rosen is a doctoral level, licensed clinical psychologist. Educated at Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania, he interned at the V.A. Hospital at Perry Point, Maryland.
