David. R. Rogers has been operating in technical and commercial roles, in automotive research and development for over 25 years. He has specialist knowledge and experience in the areas of powertrain testing, instrumentation, test systems, tools and workflows. Whilst working in this environment he has developed a detailed, practical knowledge base on the combustion pressure measurement task, from a user perspective and application viewpoint. He gained most of this knowledge through hands-on interaction with users of the equipment in real-life applications. Professionally he is a registered Chartered Engineer, European Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and a member of SAE International.
