She studied Classics at Cambridge University, where she fully indulged her life-long passion for all things Shakespeare in the student-theatre scene. Ilya Milstein is an Italian-born, Australian-raised, and New York-based illustrator. Working for a wide range of commercial and editorial clients in a detailed and referential hand-drawn style, his illustrations have been recognised by American Illustration and Communication Arts, he has received three Gold Medals from the Society of Illustrators, and he was named an ADC Young Gun by the The One Club for Creativity. He is commercially represented in North America, Australia, and New Zealand by the Jacky Winter Group, and in South Korea by Pinzle.
