Indirect Imaging

This book collects the main papers presented at an international symposium on measurement and processing for indirect imaging held in Sydney in late 1983. The 45 papers are grouped into ten sections. These include: radio telescope imaging systems; optical imaging; medical imaging; calibration; data cleaning techniques and image processing; and hardware. The individual authors are practitioners in medical imaging, image processing, and radio astronomy. Indirect imaging is important in many areas of pure and applied science - geophysics, medicine, crystallography, acoustics and astronomy -and there are contributions from all these.
