Lizzy Rizzi is a former high school English teacher who witnessed firsthand the role stories could play with kids. She now lives in Northern Italy, where she teaches English as a second language to young children, making use of picture books in the classroom. Wind Child marks her debut as a writer. Rogerio Coelho lives in Curitiba, Brazil, with his wife, Regina, and their three children, Gabriel, Pedro and Laís. He has been drawing since forever and has illustrated more than one hundred
books for publishers in Brazil and the United States. He has received many awards including the Jabuti prize (twice) and the gold medal in the Independent Publisher Book Awards for his book, Boat of Dreams.
