Body Broken

The apostle Paul drew a comparison between the church and a human body, calling it the Body of Christ. Because we live in a broken world, our bodies experience illness and injury, and the church faces similar challenges since it is made up of imperfect, fallen people. Many problems we encounter in the Body of Christ mirror those found within our physical bodies.In the church body, we may find spiritual forms of diabetes, renal failure, or infection. Perhaps someone suffers from spiritual asthma, cancer, or even acne. This book will examine various organ systems, highlight possible disorders, and draw parallels to corresponding issues within the church body.When difficulties do occur in the church, effective solutions are available through the help of the Holy Spirit if we seek Him. By recognizing these challenges early, we can work to prevent them from taking root. The Great Physician, Jesus, is ready to help us when we ask.
