Description
The international "Space Condition" symposium hosted by Roger Riewe at Graz Technical University in the autumn of 2002 was intended to complement the "Latent Utopias" exhibition curated by Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher last year. Almost all major contemporary architects, designers and architecture critics commented on the subject of architecture's importance to society, which was a discussion area of particular importance. This publication is a compilation of discussion minutes, images and interviews that reflects the participant's differing positions and the current status of the architectural-theoretical dialogue.
