The newest installment in Rockport's Architecture in Detail series, Colors looks at how colour plays a role in even the most upscale architectural designs. The series itself examines the role of details in contemporary architecture through the work of many emerging and established practitioners whose projects speak sensitively and energetically on a small scale. Colour is just another one of those details architects use to put their own individual stamps on their creations. Like the preceding books in the series, Materials, Elements, and Spaces, Colors is designed by Oscar Riera Ojeda. Each book presents even the smallest architectural detail in lavish photographs by acclaimed photographer Paul Warchol, and an introductory essay by Mark Pasnick positions the images within a historical and conceptual framework.
