Reviews / Votes
The text is a wonderful and dynamic approach to enriching the rewards of teaching, whether the educator is brand new or has years of teaching experience. I believe that the tips and conversation "leads" provided by the the text are excellent examples for use in college classes geared to educate the teachers of the future. The text does an excellent job in the integration of research on teaching translated into a practical approach of how to work with children in the classroom to improve their achievement levels. It is a "must have" for its simplicity and direct help support for educators. -- Dr. David H. Goldenberg, professor and dean, Hillyer College, University of Hartford In these days when beginning teachers are often overwhelmed, and teacher retention is critical, [this] work sends a refreshing message, "You can be a successful teacher and the effort is worth the rewards!" The book's down-to-earth and easy to read format guarantees that teachers will go back to it over and over again. -- Mariann Schmudde, Ph.D., professor, Stetson University (FL)More details
