Description
Designed to be a self-contained course that will be "user-friendly" to both student and teacher, this book contains a series of graded design problems that can be used sequentially or independently. This allows flexibility in the use of the material. Account is taken of the varied requirements of the National Curriculum through the medium of high technology. The authors recognize that not all schools have the same level of equipment, and the development of a specification for each design brief has therefore been omitted. It is envisaged that this can be developed by the students, who need to be aware of what equipment is available to them. Chapter 15 is a research section, providing more detailed information on a variety of topics which students can refer to as an aid to developing their own designs.
