Mr. Rice holds a B.A. in communication arts and history, was a British Studies student at University College, Oxford, England, and completed the American Trial Lawyer Association National College of Advocacy.
Nick Rice, known formally as George Lawrence Rice, IV, is a third generation attorney following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father.Mr. Rice first started studying the law when he began working for the firm in seventh grade. He graduated Christian Brothers High School where he served 4 years on Honor Council.
Mr. Rice graduated from The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2000. He returned to Memphis to attend law school and continued working at the firm. Mr. Rice received his J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2003.
Because of his extensive training, he practiced law immediately after passing the bar. Following in his father¿s footsteps, he has also presented Continuing Legal Education lectures. He is widely considered to be the best young divorce lawyer.
In 2001 Mr. Rice, with the help of two friends, founded a yearly charitable fund raiser. It has distributed grants to several local charities.
