Description
A-Z of Wellbeing Toolkit provides ideas and resources to teach children aged 7 to 11 about wellbeing from a Christian perspective.
A-Z of Wellbeing Toolkit provides 26 teaching sessions on wellbeing for use in a KS2 school setting such as an assembly, act of worship or class lesson, or in a Sunday School setting. Many ideas could also be adapted into all age church services.
Ruth Rice and Debbie Green explore the Five Ways to Wellbeing in an age-appropriate way for children aged 7 to 11: Connect with the wellbeing word, Learn about a Jesus story, Get Active with activities, Take Notice with space to reflect together and Give a blessing as the group shares lessons they have learnt. Each session includes ideas for larger groups and additional activities for smaller groups or individuals. Accompanying images and worksheets are available to download for free via a QR code.
Whilst many of the activities in A-Z of Wellbeing Toolkit work as stand-alone sessions, this book is designed to work most effectively when used in tandem with A-Z of Wellbeing for Children.
