Description
When nightmares followed him home, she became his refuge...
Aidan O'Brien is a decorated soldier with four combat tours and is now home, tormented by survivor's guilt after one particularly horrific day in Afghanistan. He's sworn he'll never marry, never put a woman or children through military life. Then Alanna Falk moves into the cottage next door. She's a brilliant psychologist specializing in PTSD, and his carefully constructed walls begin to crumble.
Alanna fled to the beach house seeking refuge from a stalker who won't let her go. The handgun in her desk drawer and the Louisville Slugger by her door are constant reminders of why she needs to disappear. She isn't prepared for her charming new Irish neighbor with vivid green eyes to destabilize everything she's rebuilt. When Aidan shows up unannounced on her deck, sparks fly between them.
As their connection ignites, these two wounded souls discover they might be exactly what the other needs. But when Aidan's demons resurface and Alanna's carefully guarded past becomes a very real danger, they'll discover if love is enough to break through the walls that have kept them safe for so long.
A sweeping coastal romance, perfect for fans of Jean Grainger and Tricia O'Malley.

Stacey Reynolds started writing her first novel, _Raven of the Sea_, in 2015. She was inspired by the beautiful villages of Ireland's west coast--the traditional music, the architecture, the lighthouses, and crumbling ruins. It lit a spark in her that would smolder for years until she was ready. She was a military wife and mother of 5. With a special needs child at home, she began writing at the public library during her son's therapy sessions. Before she married an officer in the Marines, she was a police officer. Her experience in law enforcement aids her in writing from the perspective of a first responder. It also helps with the procedural aspects of some of her stories. She loves what she does. She finds inspiration through traveling, reading, art, and music. She tries to write with the honest and often raw emotions that come from loving and losing.
