Early European Writings on the Ainu Language

A collection of the most important early works on the Ainu people of Japan, some extremely rare, from the 17th century onwards, with an extensive introduction by Professor Refsing (Author of Ainu Grammar).
This collection would be of interest to the following research fields: linguistics, anthropology, religion, material culture and oral traditions.
Subsequent collections in the Ainu Library will address culture, physical anthropology, and the genetic relationship controversy.
