Pervasive Topics

This work brings together in one volume all that LPC students need to know in relation to all the pervasive topics that accord with the Law Society's written standards for the PLC. The book is set out in four parts: the first deals with professional conduct, incorporating recent developments, including client care and quality assurance, as well as established topics like retainers, conflict of interest and fees/costs; the second part covers revenue law; the third section deals with financial services and provides the basis for proper consideration of this topic in the core subjects of wills, conveyancing and business law and practice, as well as option corporate finance law and practice; and the fourth part of the book encompasses EC law, covering free movement of goods and of workers, and competition law, along with other relevant topics.
