Description
After 10-year-old Leelee Honeyshine and her 12-year-old sister Natasha arrive in Knotted Oaks, Florida to spend the summer with their grandparents, Leelee discovers that in such a small town, she can't hide herself or her drawings from anyone.
Unlike her popular older sister, Leelee is a shy and lonely girl who loves to draw. But she won't show her drawings to anyone. Not even her grandparents, until she meets mischievous Jeremy "Jellybean" Beam. Jellybean lives with Leelee's grandparents and the two become fast friends.
At her grandparents urging, Leelee enrolls in an art class right in time to enter the local mural contest that's five weeks away.
But first, she has to make it through the summer.
