Reading for Information

This is one of a series of titles which cover all the different types of reading requirements for National Curriculum English. The book provides a variety of text which includes plans, maps, signs, encyclopedia and newspaper pages to help children develop practise skills such as skimming, scanning, back tracking, cross referencing and comparing. These skills are especially important when finding and interpreting information from non-fiction sources.
