Description
The following special issue is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Institute for Axiological Research and its journal "Labyrinth". The title "Current philosophical debates on values" may seem very broad at first sight. However, the goal here is not to present and discuss all -- or even the most important -- contemporary debates on values, but only a few that are at the core of contemporary philosophy. The provided essays deal with values in various contexts such as human and women rights, emancipation, morality etc. While they do not claim to provide definitive answers to the posed questions, they offer new perspectives and interpretations that can inspire new research on the relationships between values, fundamental rights, norms, and emotions.
