After decades of partying through every home and hovel in Faerieland, Emrys Hemlock is enjoying a sense of routine. He has a stable job (a first) that comes with a home, and his roommate, Zackary, is about to give into his seductive wiles. (He's not.)

But something fae and strange is killing young men on the shores of Lake Superior and it's up to Emrys to find out what it is with Zackary in tow. (Which is fair. Emrys is a bit of a disaster.)

Can Emrys' icy walls withstand the romantic sparks beginning to fly between himself and Zackary? Or will the walls melt, setting both his heart and the investigation alight with unholy fire?
