The third edition encompasses disorders of hemostasis. It begins with a review of the history of the development of knowledge about this subject and with a chapter on the laboratory approach to hemostatic disorders. The rest of the volume is devoted to summaries of specific patient problems, their pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy.
