Dr. Dasarath Ram Yadav is the Former Director of DRDL, DRDO Hyderabad. Dr. D R Yadav extensively works on weapon system Design, Development, and Production. He has published 12 research papers in International Journals. He has been awarded seven patents. He is a recipient of many awards and honors. He is associated with Indian National Academy of Engineering, Aeronautical Society of India, Telangana Academy of Sciences, Institute of Engineers (India), and Indian Institution of Production Engineers.
Prof. R. Tyagi is a professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department and Dean (Faculty Affairs) at IIT(BHU) VARANASI, UP. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (erstwhile University of Roorkee) in 1992, Master's Degree in Engineering with specialization in Industrial Metallurgy and Ph.D. (2001) in Materials Tribology from the same Institute. Dr. Tyagi did his Post-doctoral research at School of MaterialsScience and Engineering, Nanjing University of Sc. and Technology, Nanjing PR. His areas of interest include Materials Development and Tribology, MMCs (Al, Cu and Ni Base), Wear-resistant coatings, Surface Engineering, Solid Lubrication and High-temperature Wear. Dr. Tyagi has published about ninety research papers in various International Journals of repute, with many presented at several International and national conferences. He has guided a number of PhD/Masters students. He has delivered invited talks in several workshops/conferences/faculty development programs both in India and Abroad. Dr. Tyagi has wider exposure to teaching at some premier engineering and technology institutes in India like BITS, Pilani; PEC, University of Technology, Chandigarh and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. Dr. Tyagi has also been a member of the Board of Governors of IIT (BHU) Varanasi and currently also looking after the activities of Ideation, Innovation &Incubation Foundation (I3F) at IIT (BHU) in the capacityof Director.
Prof. R. K. Gautam is a professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT(BHU) VARANASI, UP. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MMMUT Gorakhpur in 1992, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, and PhD in Materials Tribology from IIT Roorkee in 2009. Dr. R K Gautam extensively works on Hybrid Cu-base in-situ composites, processing of Light alloy base composites and nano-composite, Microwave sintered composites, Tribological, Mechanical and physical properties of cast in-situ composites, Bio -Tribology, dental tribology and Air jet erosion, Self - Healing and Biomimetics Materials. He has published more than 50 research papers in International Journals. He has been awarded one patent. He is associated with the Tribology Society of India (TSI) affiliated to U. K.
Dr. A. Tyagi is an Associate professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT(BHU) VARANASI, UP. He obtained his PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT(BHU) Varanasi. His research area includes vibration, energy harvesting from vibration etc. He has published more than 30 research papers in International Journals and conferences.
