Description
Cloud computing is the latest technology used in most enterprises. Almost every enterprise is moving towards the cloud based platform. Cloud follows the "pay per use" strategy for all the users. On the other hand, High Performance Computing (HPC) is a need for many industries for data analytics or huge computational tasks. HPC needed a large set of resources. Implementation of HPC systems in small and medium scale enterprise is very costly. Therefore, we are suggesting a novel approach that combines two different platforms like Cloud and HPC together to solve the issue. Many challenging parameters are there when we combined the approach. One of the major parameters is cost because all the enterprises focus more on finance more. In this research we propose two approaches an Algorithm and costing model based on selected resource pool. The costing model is propose based on proposed algorithm with reference to resource pool. Resource pool will helpful for calculating the cost of HPC services on the Cloud platform. We designed a tool which will calculates the cost of HPC service in cloud environment.
