Charles Quest-Ritson, former Director of the Royal National Rose Society, has written several gardening books and has been General Editor of the RHS Gardeners Yearbook since 1994. Charles has lectured widely around the world for the RHS. His latest book, "A Social History of Gardening" was published by Viking and he is the author of the forthcoming DK publication the "RHS Encyclopedia of Roses". Charles lives in Salisbury.
