Description
Mr Moot lives a quiet life with his cherished pet, Fluffywuffy, by his side. He isn't troubled by neighbours, or mice, or even the postman... But when an uninvited guest comes to visit, Mr Moot finds himself kept awake every night. If it's not the sound of drums, then the noise of chainsaws and even motorbikes comes from the living room below. Luckily for Mr Moot, Fluffywuffy has a solution for how to deal with his (unlucky) guest! Kids will love this darkly funny story with a brilliant mischievous twist!
Reviews / Votes
'The illustrations are brilliant' * The Bookbag * 'Utterly hilarious from start to finish, the sort of book we love' * Read it Daddy * "easily interactive and would encourage group participation (and lots of laughs)" * Library Geek * "Hilariously anarchic, wonderfully tongue-in-cheek; and the final twist will leave you and your audience, (like a certain hairy pet), utterly speechless...Puttock's light-hearted text and Robertson's jokey illustrative style, not to mention the cuddlesome appearance of the bow-sporting Fluffywuffy are deliciously at odds with what turns out to be a modern gothic horror story." * Red Reading Hub * 'A very entertaining story, great to share with so much to discuss. Perfect for beginner readers, but fun for all abilities.' * The Primary Times *More details
