Reviews / Votes
The Awesome Autistic Guide to Other Humans explores both the good things and the hard things about our relationships with other humans, from friends to family members to new people. It gives simple tips to dealing with some of the harder things for autistic people, such as conflict and safeguarding ourselves from being hurt, while also celebrating how wonderful true friendships can be. A really lovely book to grow your confidence in making friends. -- Niamh Garvey, Author of Looking After Your Autistic Self Humans! We are a complex bunch. We all have to live together on one small planet and that is not always easy. The Awesome Autistic Guide to Other Humans is a deceptively simple little book that, if followed, could bring harmony amongst autistic and neurotypical family and friends, and who knows could spread throughout the world. World Peace for Humans! Now wouldn't that be something! -- Kathy Hoopman, author of the All About series Insightful, funny, relatable and inclusive. This book about humans, friendships and being autistic or not, is a very helpful guide to working out non-romantic human relationships. It also includes easy activities cementing our learning. Meet Min and travel on this journey together. -- Dr. Wenn B. Lawson (PhD)More details
