Description
In the contest between man and deer, the stalker is all too often the loser, eating his share of humble pie as a result. This is a bedside book for any stalker to dip into, to be entertained, maybe to empathize with the Author's misfortunes and possibly learn a little in the process. Roe deer are highly successful and adaptable animals, varying their day-to-day life in order to flourish even in our heavily populated country. Only by sharing experiences can deer enthusiasts improve their understanding of species in different environments. The book is intended primarily to reflect a lifetime of triumphs and disasters, mistakes, misunderstandings and lost opportunities in a form that can be taken up in an idle moment and put aside again.
