The Wisden Guide to Cricket Grounds

In recent years the development of one-day cricket has seen more and more grounds used for county cricket, many of which have previously been unknown to regular cricket followers. Intended as an everday user's guide to all grounds used for county cricket, the author included a record of each county's achievements, a description of each ground and its facilities, a diagrammatic plan of the ground, the existing records at each ground in first-class and limited-overs cricket and how to get there and where to stay. Each county has a short historical introduction by Alex Bannister, former "Daily Mail" cricket correspondent, recalling some of the great players and characters of the club.
