Rollercoaster

Gus, Ricky and Sam have been saving up for a ride on the Devil Dipper for a month. When they are refused entry, Ricky thinks up a plan to make it happen. The boys have the ride of their lives. But can they escape the clutches of the monstrous rollercoaster, as it turns out to be more than they bargained for?

This hi-lo series for struggling and reluctant readers has been written for children aged between 8 and 14 years, whose current reading age is 7.5 to 8.5 years. These age-appropriate short reads have 32 pages and are written by brilliant authors writing stories with relatable characters. They use a large font size, and the language and sentence structure are intentionally written so that students who are reading behind their chronological age can succeed in reading them.
