Protect The Innocent by Nancy Powell Anna encounters numerous dangers while trying to escape Jaeger, his evil family, and the drug cartel, and while helping the children in her care. Anna heard the report of Jaeger's death, but she cannot believe it and continues to watch for him; he promised to hunt her down and kill her. Neighbor boys, Hank and Bill find themselves in trouble with the Game and Fish Commission, Child Services, and the Prosecuting Attorney, but the Dugans intercede and take the boys into their home as foster children. Also, they take a little girl whose parents were murdered-her biological father was wealthy, and she is first in line to inherit a fortune. Each child brings blessings and problems.
