Description
Lynda (Lyn) and Mallowan (Mal) had been best friends since primary school. When Lyn received news of the death of her husband it was only natural that Mal be called to offer comfort in her loss. The discoveries they make about Lyn's late husband lead them through a series of adventures and dangers taking them to Pen-y-coed near Llangollen, in Wales and the protection of a safe-house. The protection is short lived when shots ring out. Lyn is shot and injured. As she lies in hospital recovering, the terrible truth of the shooting leads to further and heart-breaking tragedy.
