Carmen Queralt was born in Spain in 1952. She began her career in the world of illustration in the 1990s, focusing primarily on children's books. She has worked as a freelance illustrator for several publishing houses. Teresa Porcella was born in Italy in 1965. For many years she has worked as an author, editor and translator for several children's books publishers. She has taught children's literature and editorial design at universities in Italy.
