CYPRESS SWAMPS

After 10 years of photographing and exploring the cypress swamps of the Deep South (USA), usually with their kayaks, Verena Popp-Hackner and Georg Popp published a book about their award winning photography. Step by step, they will introduce you to every fascinating facette of the cypress forest with great photos and a lot of personal adventure stories written by Georg Popp. They also included many images of one of the best American swamp-photographers, David Chauvin, who passed away in 2019. They also included a chapter in memory of David Chauvin, a chapter about photography in this difficult environment and some extra travel information.
