Metal Process Engineering

The course Metal Process Engineering is intended for engineers as a basis for the successful mastery of a number of special subjects. An acquaintance with the methods employed to produce ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys, and a knowledge of their principal properties and processing procedures are of vital importance for expedient selection and proper application of metallic materials. Engineers in all lines of industry must know what effect heat treatment and other processes have on the properties of metals and what can be done to alter these properties in the desired directions.
