Description
A sweeping saga of war, prejudice, and the enduring bonds of family. Set against the backdrop of World War II, Somewhere in the Stars follows three young men from San Francisco--Nick Spataro, his cousin Paolo, and friend Nathan Fein--as they navigate the battlefields of Italy. While they face the horrors of war, Nick's Sicilian father is unjustly interned as an "enemy alien" back in the USA, highlighting the prejudice and discrimination faced by Italian-Americans during this tumultuous time. Can these young soldiers overcome the tragic events on and off the battlefield? Experience their bravery, guilt, and the enduring power of love and friendship as they embark on daring rescues and seek eventual reunion with loved ones. A powerful and explosive mix of history, emotion, and the search for identity.
