Weather

A series of books providing ready-made collections of early years stories, songs, rhymes and information text all based around popular themes. The books are more than just anthologies, however, as each poem, story or rhyme is photocopiable and is accompanied by activity ideas showing how it can be used as a springboard for activities across the curriculum. All the ideas are carefully linked to the requirements of the new Early Learning Goals. The "Weather" book introduces young children to many types of weather that we experience and the effects that such weather can have. The activities in the book cover, rainy days, rainbows, sunny days, windy days, cold days and foggy days. There are also ideas for looking at weather in different countries, wearing the right clothes for the weather and how we record the weather.
