Clothes

The activities in this book on clothes help children to investigate fastenings, clothes for special occasions, clothes from around the world and how clothes are made. There are six activity chapters covering: me and my clothes; clothes and the weather; special clothes; clothes from other times and places; shoes and socks; and how clothes are made. Linking up to these activities is a photocopiable anthology section of action rhymes, poems, stories and songs. In addition there are photocopiable activity sheets, plus ideas for displays and assemblies. A topic web shows how the activities help to prepare for both the National Curriculum and the Scottish 5-14 National Guidelines.
