Bruce Piasecki served as the founder and president of AHC Group Inc., a general management and consulting firm started in 1981. AHC Group focused on critical areas of corporate governance consulting, energy, and environmental strategy, product innovation, and sustainability strategy.
He co-chaired the working group for reinventing the EPA and was appointed by AI Gore and President Clinton to the White House Council on Environmental Technology. He has taught at Cornell University, Clarkson University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Piasecki holds a PhD and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. His work has evolved from working with Fortune 500 companies to becoming a mainstream advocate for sustainable strategies for everyone. He and his wife Andrea have founded the Creative Force Foundation whose mission is to recognize and promote the next generation of thought leaders on the subject of business and its role in positive social transformation.
Bruce Piasecki made his mark as a long-time author, philanthropist, and advocate for environmental issues. He has published more than twenty books over the last forty years, including the NY Times best-seller Doing More With Less. In the 90s, his tireless efforts on behalf of our planet got him a place in AI Gore’s Environmental White House council. He followed that up in 2021 when he helped launch the Creative Force Fund, which sponsors an award for up-and-coming journalists who do an exceptional job covering business, environment, and societal issues. He has become a force in these arenas and was named to Worth magazine’s Worthy 100 for 2024. This prestigious list honors 100 individuals making the most significant impact on the world, including innovators from diverse fields such as art, entertainment, business, government, nonprofits, and philanthropy.
