Feedback Control Systems

This introductory control theory text has been revised to feature more practical examples, more thorough design coverage and increased emphasis on computer-aided analysis and design. Divided into three topic sections - linear analogue control systems, linear digital control systems and nonlinear analogue control systems - the emphasis is on understanding the difference between mathematical models and the physical systems that the models represent. Frequency-response design procedures are provided and expanded problem sets at the end of each chapter are included. There is also a short introduction to sensors and a history of control systems.
