Description
Jack, a financial adviser lives a relatively dull, unexciting way of life with his wife and their two daughters.
Everything changes when he is asked, by a client, to launder a million pounds in cash. He is surprised to find that the client's wife turns out to be his first great love.
Driven by greed and the desire to impress her, as well as the longing for the excitement and passion that this lost love represents, he agrees to get involved.
His research into the methods of laundering large sums of cash gets him caught up in the underworld. This would have a harrowing effect on his life, and a devastating impact on his family. A terrifying ordeal would lead to his extensive injuries, and being charged with two separate but associated murders. There are obvious implications for his personal freedom, his relationships and his career.
He is persuaded, despite reservations, to run away with his former love, but soon realises his mistake, and returns to find more trouble and some traumatic surprises.
