Description
The continuously unfolding area of Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing is joined by new generations of researchers and PhD students, in academia and industry. Therefore, the authors continued the series of tutorials, that had started in 2007 at the 5th PERVASIVE, leveraging the expertise that this premier conference brings together. The lecture format was continued as in the year before and provided complementary topics with mostly a new variety of speakers. Facing the large number of sub-disciplines that have grown from the initial concept of Pervasive Computing, the authors opted for a set of seven new lectures of one hour each, continuing to cover a broad range of topics being delivered to a large number of participants. This volume presents the materials for the Tutorial sessions held on the last day of the Sixth International Conference on Pervasive Computing, May 19-22, 2008 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
