Tom runs a horticultural consultancy advising clients on organic methods of horticulture, permaculture and sustainable land use. He has written a weekly column - 'Kitchen Garden' - for the Saturday Times and a monthly column for Cornwall Today. His work appears regularly in publications such as Gardens Illustrated, Saga Magazine, Hortus and Country Smallholder. His books include 'Heligan, A Portrait of The Lost Gardens' (Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 04) and 'Trees That Shape The World' (Quadrille, 06).
