Reviews / Votes
The set of six books aims to engage young readers, by describing a year in the life of a garden bird, ranging from 'A Chaffinch's Year' to 'A Robin's Year.'Each absorbing book will capture the imagination of the young reader, whilst the decodable format of the text supports and encourages early reading and phonics development.
The nature based theme of garden birds is absorbing and captivating, as the young reader learns about the annual cycle of each bird, using wonderful, descriptive text, alongside colourful and beautiful illustrations.
The books provide positive momentum in developing independent reading for young, inquisitive minds. The nature based theme will ignite a love of reading, whilst stimulating an awareness of the annual, natural cycle in the life of garden birds.
Perfect and unmissable for young children, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this superb set of books, to teachers and parents alike.
