Personal Computer Bible Handbook

The titles in the "The Lion PC Bible Handbook" series help to extend the area of study with a range of add-on packages. Cross-referencing and search facilities enable the user to use major reference works to add on to the the main package to form an integral of the whole. The reference works run with Microsoft Windows 3.1 (or later) edition or (except "New Bible Atlas") with the DOS second edition. The "Add-On Bible Texts" run with any "PC Bible Handbook" edition. As a powerful electronic concordance, the packages allow users to find a Bible verse by keying in a reference, a word, a phrase or a combination of words. Several passages or Bible translations (if added) are then displayed for comparison. From any passage, verse or word, the user can move directly to related articles from the database, investigate the background, meaning, context and application, and click on any word in the 3500 articles by 120 experts to select other subjects to investigate. Everything in the package can be printed out and gathered into a document - a project worksheet for school, a set of notes for church study groups, a sermon or a lesson. The results can be photocopied too, within set limits.
This disk pack extends the range of resources available to the "Lion PC Bible Handbook" user for using the "Good News Bible". The disks provide the ability to search for combinations of words, and to to compare GNB with other versions. The two leaflets provide instructions for installation and license terms. The pack is IBM-compatible, and requires 4 MB hard disk space. A 386 processor is recommended.
